Finally! A Week to Chill….

Arts & Greens, last weekend, was GREAT!!

Right now, is my week to breath before 1 more holiday show, Arts & Cheers, and my Kids Sewing Class at the HVCA. Which will be FREE to the public, so if you know any kids around age 4 and up you should totally take advantage of this free day of fun!

Today, I went down to Detroit to drop off some bicycle themed bags at Metropolis Cycles. It was a fun little adventure, the shop is gorgeous, and all the employees are really nice. I’m hoping sales go well there.

Don’t forget to shop small this holiday season, I’ve got my Etsy shop stocked up, but will be taking it down for a couple of days on December 9th for Arts & Cheers. The Chaos Continues…

Lol…I had a photography teacher, in high school, whose favorite word was chaos so now it always makes me laugh a little….

Anyways, like I said this is about the middle of the insanity. I’ve got my biggest show of the season this weekend, I just got done with a beautiful, custom leather and canvas tote and I made my first ALL leather bag last week….and then promptly sold it at the Hometown Bicycles BIG Party…..so I guess it was a hit…lol : )

Then I made my second all leather bag….. it’s a late birthday gift for a very spacial friend. I finally get to give it to her tomorrow…I’m so excited, I know she’s going to love it

And of corse, Im beyond excited for Arts & Greens Holiday Market, this weekend. Full disclose, I’m a member of the planning committee for it and my new saying is “it will be a miracle if I still have hair on Sunday”…lol. Although Im super pumped and I know the show is gonna be a lot of fun I’m, honestly, more excited for it to be over…ya know? To be done and just breath and relax and enjoy my new FUNimation subscription…lol…yes I’m a secret anime addict….not so secret anymore though

A Busy Couple Of Weeks….

Ok, so I haven’t been on here too much lately (like a month….lol), but, I have a ligament excuse!!!

Life has been freaking crazy!! Last Saturday I dropped bags off at the BBAC for their Holiday Shop. I about died when I walked in the door…that place is FANCY!!!! I still kinda can’t believe my bags are there…ekk! : )

I also got a custom order tote underway….I love going through the process of helping my customers pick out all their fabrics, I especially like the lining option pictures, so many pretty choices : ) And I made the MOST adorable little leather cross body bag last week, I’ll share pictures soon, and the week before that I was doing a custom order leather and canvas cross body bag….not to mention I have shows almost every other weekend for next 3-4 weeks….jeeze….it’s only gonna get more insane.

This weekend’s show is at Hometown Bicycles in Brighton. I’m super excited, the owners are fantastic people to work with and I’m sure the show will be a lot of fun : )
